Accurate translations of contracts and agreements, priced individually by written quote.
Contracts reach us from every direction: a Chinese 合同 from a supplier, a Japanese 契約書 for a distribution deal, a German Vertrag or a Spanish contrato for an overseas employee, or an Australian agreement that a foreign partner needs to read in their own language. We translate the full text, including schedules, annexures, definitions and execution pages.
Contracts are never priced instantly. Length, layout, subject matter and the number of languages vary too much for a fixed price, so every contract receives a written quote by email before you pay anything. Upload the document, tell us the language you need and whether it must be certified, and we will reply with a quote.
A contract is a closed system. Defined terms must be translated the same way every time they appear, clause numbers and cross-references must still point to the right place, and a word such as shall, may or must cannot be loosened in translation. Bilingual contracts add another layer: the two versions sometimes say different things, and many include a clause stating which language prevails. We translate what is on the page and can point out where two versions differ, but we do not decide which one governs.
Choose certified if the translation will be used in a dispute, lodged with a court or tribunal, or relied on by a government body. It is translated and certified by a NAATI certified translator. Choose professional translation (non-certified) for negotiation, review and day-to-day business use. Company certification by Language Masters Pty Ltd is available on request for added assurance of accuracy. If you are not sure, check with your lawyer or the body you are submitting to.
Upload the contract as a PDF or Word file, with all schedules and annexures. We review it and email you a written quote. Once you accept and pay, the translation is delivered by email.
We translate what your documents say. We do not advise on their legal effect, and we cannot confirm whether a particular court or agency will accept them. Please check requirements with the receiving body or your lawyer.
Contracts vary too much in length and complexity for a fixed price. Every contract receives a written quote by email, so you know the cost before you commit.
